Abdul Ghani Assar (born 1923) was an Afghan footballer who played in the national football team. He competed at the 1948 Summer Olympic Games. Assar also played for Mahmoudiyeh F.C..
He was the brother of fellow footballer Abdul Ghafoor Assar.
