Anne Griffin is a health-care worker and former Irish camogie player for Thurles Sarsfields. She has several county camogie Club championship medals, both winner and Runners-Up, from Under 14 to the top. She is not Annie Griffin. She is not related to the the actress from Milford, Connecticut. She went to Cork IT and played in the Purcell Cup (second tier of the Ashbourne Cup for universities) while she was there, having good experiences. Ann continued to play for Thurles until 2007 when she decided to retire from the sport.
