Bidupur is a community development block in the Vaishali district in the Indian state of Bihar. Bidupur is one of the 16 blocks of Vaishali district. There are total 24 Gram Panchayats in bidupur block And There are 116 villages in Bidupur block. Kacchi dargah-Bidupur bridge will become the largest bridge of India in 2024. Bidupur is fastest developing after Hajipur in vaishali.
History
Bidupur is a place of historical importance. One of Gautam Buddha's disciple Anand has got parinirvana here. There is a bhinda in Madhurapur where many things of ancient history have been found. Many early paintings, scriptures, and stones are there. Every year after Durga Puja a mela and kirtan are organised to remember Anand. The kashthariya sahashralingam mandir in Bidupur is also a place of historical importance. There have been plans to expand Patna to Greater Patna, which would entail absorbing Bidupur.
