Слева направо: командир роты старший лейтенант Василий Петрович Зайцев (1916 — 22.10.1944), командир отделения красноармеец Виктор Михайлович Закоблук (1925 — 20.08.1944), стрелок красноармеец Смагул (Исмаил) Жубатыров (Жубатырев) (1901 — 17.10.1944), командир отделения красноармеец Александр Васильевич Корзун (1925 — 23.08.1944), стрелок красноармеец Кирилл Сидорович Примак (1919 — 14.01.1945).
15 августа 1944 г. стрелковая рота старшего лейтенанта В.П. Зайцева прорвала оборону противника в районе севернее г. Науместис (Кудиркос-Науместис, Литва) и в 7.30 17 августа первой из советских подразделений вышла на Государственную границу СССР с Восточной Пруссией. 19.10.1944 г. в бою за немецкий город Ширвиндт (п. Кутузово Калининградской обл.) Зайцев был смертельно ранен, скончался в госпитале 22.10.1944 г., похоронен в г. Каунас. 24 марта 1945 г. В.П. Зайцеву посмертно присвоено звание Героя Советского Союза. К званию Героя Советского Союза представлялись также В.М. Закоблук (20.08.1944 г.) и К.С. Примак (24.10.1944 г.), но были награждены орденами. |
