Jay M. Bargeron is a United States Marine Corps major general who has served as the director of strategic planning and policy of the United States Indo-Pacific Command. He most recently served as the commanding general of the 3rd Marine Division from November 8, 2021 to June 30, 2023. He also served as the President of the Marine Corps University from 2019 to 2021, and as the Deputy Director of Plans and Operations of the United States European Command.
