Kapitan Stupino is an ice hockey team in Stupino, Russia. Since 2011, the team plays in the Russian Junior Hockey League. They have previously played in the Vysshaya Liga, the second level of Russian ice hockey.

History

The Captain hockey club was founded in 1949, and was called the "Sports Palace team". Until 1957, the this team was represented in two sports: football and bandy. Nikolai Makhov, the coach, should be considered the founder of hockey in Stupino. In 1949, the first hockey field appeared in Stupino. The first hockey match in Stupino took place on March 24, 1957.
