Once Upon a Time in Iran (Persian: خاتون, romanized: Khatoon) is an Iranian historical drama romance television series created by Tina Pakravan, starring Negar Javaherian, Ashkan Khatibi and Mirsaeed Molavian, alongside an ensemble supporting cast. The first episode of this series was released on Namava on August 9, 2021.
Synopsis
The series centers on an Iranian Army family living in the northern part of the Imperial State of Iran whose life changes during the Anglo-Soviet invasion of Iran in 1941.
