Nazir Naji (Urdu: نذیر ناجی; 1942/1943 – 21 February 2020) was a Pakistani journalist and Urdu columnist. He served for 27 years as a senior Urdu columnist for Daily Jang.
Life and career
Nazir Naji was born in 1942 or 1943. He was the chairman of the Pakistan Academy of Letters. In 2012, Naji left Jang Group and joined Daily Dunya as a Group Editor. He was honoured with the Hilal-i-Imtiaz for his services in journalism.
Naji died in Lahore on 21 February 2020, at the age of 78.
