'''Mamonov and Aleksei''' were a rock duo formed by half-brothers [[Peter Mamonov]] and [[Aleksei Bortnichuk]] in 1990. The group released one self-titled album in 1992.

== History ==
Mamonov and Aleksei formed in 1990 after Zvuki Mu returned from a tour of America. The group made its first appearance on the "A Program" in 1990, playing to a backing tape containing drums, bass and keyboards.

In 1991, Mamonov founded his own record label, Otdelenie Mamonov, and began work on the group's self-titled debut album, released the following year.

In 1993, Eugene Kazantsev and Andrei Nadolsky joined the band on bass and keyboards and the group began work on their second album, but during the recording process Mamonov renamed the band to Zvuki Mu, releasing the recordings as that band's fifth album ''Grubiy zakat'' in 1995. To tide people over, Mamonov remastered an old recording session from 1988 and released it on vinyl as ''Krym'' in 1994.
