Duplicate

This is a duplicate of .41 Short and should be merged and/or deleted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ackyraw (talkcontribs) 00:47, 27 October 2020 (UTC)

Article title

This page describes the .41 rimfire cartridge family, therefore should be in sentence case. StraightAsADie (talk) 05:28, 7 July 2013 (UTC)

Article deletion

Regarding the attempted deletion of this article… (and no, I'm not the person who requested the merge). There is really very little to be said about the .41 Short, .41 Long and .41 Extra Long cartridges (and almost nothing to be said about the latter). Historically speaking, this cartridge family is not as important as the .22 Long (the first rimfire cartridge) or the .46 Short (the first large caliber metallic cartridge). One article is undoubtedly enough to cover this family, it's just a matter of whether the content of the .41 Short article is merged into the .41 rimfire page or vice versa. Personally I would prefer that the more generic ".41 rimfire" became the primary page, matching the precedent set with .38 rimfire and .46 rimfire. StraightAsADie (talk) 10:31, 21 March 2015 (UTC)
