This redirect is to point to information on the proposed top-level domain for Quebec, ".qc" The two-letter suffix may not be approved unchanged since most similar domains for entities which are not countries consist of more than two letters -- exceptions to this include .gl for Greenland, a province of Denmark, and .nf for Norfolk Island, a dependency of Australia. The information is sourced from a reputable newspaper (http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/RTGAM.20080415.wquebecinter0415/BNStory/National/home), and the proposer is a member of Quebec's parliament. Please explain how this information is not encyclopedic.Langhorner (talk) 00:46, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

Explained in Talk:Proposed_top-level_domain#.qc, the proposal was withdrawn in favour of a perfectly possible .quebec. It is not possible to get a TLD consisting of two letters without first getting a country code. --212.82.251.211 (talk) 07:01, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
