The Doric Tetrapolis (Greek : Δωρική Τετράπολις) comprised a set of four closely situated cities in the valley of the Pindus River in the region of Doris in ancient Greece . The four cities were Erineus , Boium , Cytinium , and Pindus . (Strabo x. p. 427.)
