The United Nations geoscheme for the Americas is an internal tool created and used by the UN's Statistics Division (UNSD) for the specific purpose of UN statistics.

The following is an alphabetical list of countries in the Americas grouped by UNSD geoscheme subregion and (if applicable) intermediate region. The continent of North America comprises the intermediate regions of the Caribbean, Central America, and Northern America.
