He was operating within the context of religious beliefs that started way back with Adam (whom Islam considers the first Prophet and the first Muslim) and whose writings include the Torah and whose messengers include Jesus. Change "the messenger" to "a messenger" because Islam considers these earlier prophets to also be messengers. Tag: Visual edit
