Not- Original caption by Signal Corps on back of photo says "Portrait of Brig. General Leo M. Kreber, Commanding General of the 37th Infantry Division on Bougainville. 15 January, 1944." This is an error however as he was not the Commanding General of the Division but just the Commander of the Divisions Artillery section. It appears the Signal Corps messed up with the caption. undo Tag: Visual edit
