The IDF definitely claimed that, before the shooting, gasoline bombs were used by teenagers.

Added link (unfortunately only a web source) for what happened on Dec 9. 3. some sources seem to conflate a 17yo girl shot in November and a man shot on Dec 9, sometimes adding a gasoline bomb, but they were two different people
