Elizardo Sanchez Santa-Cruz (1944- ) is a Cuban human rights campaigner and founder of the Cuban Human Rights and National Reconciliation Commission, a group supporting change in Cuba.
Sanchez was born in Santiago de Cuba. He became a university professor during the early years of the Cuban Revolution. Since becoming a political activist, Sanchez has been jailed and arrested a number of times for his opposition to the Cuban government.
