Antilles died on Alderaan in ] as the ] came to power. Until his last breath, he criticized ]'s regime, and attempted to convince Senator Organa to withdraw from the Republic. Bail Antilles was played by ] in the scenes excised from ''Episode I''. The character is sometimes mistaken for ] — adoptive father of ], played by ] in '']'' and '']'' — and indeed his likeness was used for pre-''Episode II'' incarnations of Organa. |
