Alexander Kelly Tyree (August 28, 1915 – May 10, 2006), was a decorated submarine commander during World War II who reached the rank of Captain in the United States Navy.
He was born in Page, West Virginia on 28 August 1915 and grew up in Danville, Virginia He graduated from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis in 1936.
