In 1995 he joined ] band ] which exposed him to lots of worldwide touring and studio experience.

Lichens then moved to ]. His demos caught the attention of ]. He is currently leading the band The Heavy Steadies.

Lichens' songs and compositions have been featured in several films and soundtracks. His single "Let Go" was featured on the movie soundtrack '']''. Other of his songs have been featured in films like '']'', '']'', and '']'' and TV shows like "]".

Lichens was one of the producers on ]'s third studio album, '']'', released in 2010.
