==Career==
In 1995 he joined ] band ]. He subsequently moved to ], where his demos caught the attention of ]. He is currently leading the band The Heavy Steadies.

Lichens' songs and compositions have been featured in several film soundtracks. His single "Let Go" was included on the movie soundtrack '']'', and others have been featured in films including '']'', '']'', and '']'', and the TV show '']''.

Lichens was a producer on ]'s third studio album, '']'', released in 2010.
