==Career==


===Pre-debut===
Lime was part of a training program, called Pre-School Girls, that would eventually become a member of sister group ], but was chosen to be the member of ] instead. She was also in the pre-debut line-up of a girl group called Viva Girls; consisting of several members including ] member Kyungri. However, the group disbanded and each girl left the company.

Lime wrote the rap lyrics of Scotch V.I.P's song "Finale" and also was a backup dancer for Chaeyeon. She also recorded a song called 'Listen To Me' with South Korean actor and singer ]. She also appeared in Honey Family's song "Drama Of Reverse" (역전의 드라마).

===2012: Debut===

Her first actively promoted release was Hello Venus's debut mini-album ''Venus'' on May 9, 2012. 'Venus' features four tracks in all, with "Venus" serving as the promotional track.<ref>. Naver Music (May 8, 2012). Retrieved on July 19, 2012.</ref>

===2013: First Fanmeeting and 3rd mini album ''Would You Stay For Tea?''===

On February 26, 9 months after their debut, the group held their first fanmeeting. They invited 200 fans for the event, which lasted 2 and a half hours. Tickets for the event were completely sold out in five minutes. They performed various songs including "Venus", "Like a Wave", and "What Are You Doing Today?".

Lime also covered some songs like "]" with Yooyoung and "]" with ].

Hello Venus' 3rd mini album debuted at #6 on ]'s national physical albums ranking. The mini album sold about eight thousand copies for the month of May.
