I was infomed to stop editing by someone which I did and to use the talk page which I will from now on, I am new here and am learing. I just started looking at some of the reff's and citation use and a lot were not there and had diffrent information that did not match up to what was in the article. I called the state of Gorgia and talked to them they infomed me that the schools had two different permits to operate. So If the State is saying they are two different operations, they are. It kind of lit a fire under my belly. I hate seeing wrong information posted. Let’s just say they are the same school, which they are not, is it really fair to the new owners to make the school appear to be a degree mill? The article says more about Barrington the it does about University of Atlanta. I added some new references about accreditation the school had from US Department of Education and the United Nation with references and they were removed. Hej {{u|Supercopone}}, You can (should) link to wikipedia articles like so:
:I am sorry, you seem to be working together with ], you both arrive shortly after each other. This account has been 'sleeping' for months, and Mistro12 did not edit for half a year. Now you both 'know' that the reference does not exist, and while you were not editing today, you are now here, minutes after you have been blocked. Moreover, you assume 'that people want the school to be look at poorly', no, that is information which is in the references. First the link does not work anymore, and then when confronted with the data, Mistro12 decides to change it. Misplaced Pages is NOT the place to advertise the University of Atlanta, it is a fact that the school was started in 1991, and that at that time the name was Barrington University. There is no "want the school te be look (''sic'') at poorly". --] ] ] 19:49, 12 December 2009 (UTC)

It can get wonky sometimes on mobile. I will correct those issues. Please do not undo my revisions. Everything I readded has previously been added and students keep attempting to alter the content. Nothing about what I added was poorly sourced. Those facts were supported by LBU own page on the way back machine and by a leading authority on education. I have been editing this page for 13 years now. Its a mess due to people wanting to pretending the school is something its not. == Regarding your email ==

Supercopone, regarding your email,

I will leave that decision to unblock you totally in the hands of other editors/admins.

I am sorry, I don't believe that there is no link between you and Mistro12:

* Several sockpuppets from different countries try to pimp the University of Atlanta. First promoting it downright, later blanking information which was sourced.
* Mistro12 about 6 months ago was strongly involved in that, though I believe that he was not one of the sockpuppets. He was however strongly involved.
* You created an account during the last discussions about University of Atlanta 7 months ago, which you did not use at all.
* You return, and deleted sourced information. And you have strong opinions about University of Atlanta. Stronger than just interest, you really feel that it is unjust to the school to discuss its past, and that other schools are treated 'better'. You could just have added some sourced interesting facts, making the impact of the Barrington part smaller. (I know, there is nothing!). You might want to see ] (that the others are better does not mean that those articles are correct or finished, maybe we did not get to them yet).
* During your return, you perform edits which are very, very similar to other editors in the past.
* I am sorry, there is enough information out there to show that Barrington is in the past of the UofA. The most reliable source changes, but the forum posts are still there, and the rest of the information shows similar data.
* Shortly after you return, Mistro12 returns after 6 months absence.
* The document, which stated that the school was started in 1991, was found back, somewhere else on the server.
* Upon checking, information that was in the DETC document was different from 6 months ago. The DETC did not announce this change, nor is there anything to show that the DETC made a big error which they suddenly had to change over a year after the fact. I am sorry, with so many people looking at the issue 6 months ago, I do not believe that what was in our article 6 months ago was not representing the reference correctly.

It is too much of a coincidence. I agree, you are not the same person (not a sockpuppet in Misplaced Pages terms), but you are related in some form (meatpuppetry).

There are already people asking the higher organisations about DETC, how it seems to be able to change records, etc. etc. I am interested to see what comes out of that. Maybe there is more to tell.

Regards, --] ] ] 07:34, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

By the way, don't you think it is strange that one of the accrediting agents of the UofA has for over a year completely wrong data in their records? Bit .. eh .. discrediting the accrediting agent if they don't have there records correct, is it not? --] ] ] 11:16, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

:That much is true. But not in the form of removing sourced information. Quite some editors spent quite some time on it, and unfortunately, it is the only information which can be sourced. Also, the article has been under a lot of pressure by editors who are directly affiliated to University of Atlanta. Misplaced Pages is not here to promote the University of Atlanta, it is to give a correct representation of the situation. But feel free to help us finding more on this organisation. We are still looking for some local news about it. --] ] ] 19:32, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

I to spent some time and effort adding info about the Department of Education, ACE, Chea and United Nations approval all referenced and important information but it to was removed. I now know I should have used the talk page first but it was some good info that added some much need balance to the article.--] (]) 19:41, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

Ok that sounds great, but in the future talk to me first and tell what Im doing wrong before taking any action I am very easy to get along with and am in no way a puppet of any kind, I do want to work on the problems with this article and other's and get it fixed. I think the pages need to be separated what do you think? It seems as though this is very personal to you as well as me let come up with something together!--] (]) 19:37, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

I'll have a look at the things you added, they can always be re-added of course. Regarding the block, it is not that I have strong feelings about UofA, I have strong feelings about the constant promotional push on the article, the constant spam, the constant push on Misplaced Pages to remove the negative information (and I don't see it as bad, ] also mentions ] as its past. We're talking about Nazi regime there!). But there is hardly anything positive to be found, don't they get into the news positively? Why obfuscate that past? And you now come, passing with a very, very high score a ], working quickly closely together with one of the gang of 6 months ago (who returns at that same moment; more ]). OK, I may be mistaken, but the promotion of UofA has to stop, maybe you could give them a call and see if you can get something out of them that actually improves the article. Thanks. --] ] ] 06:40, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

I tried to get some others to help, but Orlany and baseball locked the page, seems there woried about others comeing over to help--] (]) 17:13, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

:Even more? Well, some fresh eyes would be good, indeed. But there has been quite a group of editors active there, including a significant group of people who are highly involved in the organisation. Neither have been able to help us finding information on its current operation, all that was found is in the article. I did a Google/Yahoo search last week, but unfortunately all I found was information related to what is already in the article. :: So i guess your interpretation of ] mean blogs and broken links. Why not just say, "good points not coming from certain Misplaced Pages editors don't mean nothing. --] (]) 02:39, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

:Broken links, Mistro12, show them to me, which ones?? And please ''read'' ], there are reliable sources there to substantiate the part which is reliable and known ('If a topic has no reliable sources, Misplaced Pages should not have an article on it.'), that can be helped by other sources which are less reliable, and those sources, whatever you say, simply corroborate the ''reliable'' sources. The Birmingham News ''is'' a reliable source, all the combined documentation from the DETC makes the information reliable. Now ''you'' (or whoever) come with reliable information about the University of Atlanta to substantiate more about the organisation itself, otherwise the ''only'' reliable information is about its past, and however you twist and turn, what the Birmingham News and the DETC say, that part ''is'' reliably sourced. I am sorry, it is simply true that the University of Atlanta started as Barrington University, and it is simply true that you, Supercopone, the plethora of socks ánd the plethora of other Misplaced Pages editors have ''nót'' found '''anything''' to tell anything else about the University of Atlanta. I have a disruptive editor who keeps doing AfD's just because they are pornography. An example is It seems odd that one user can be so destructive just because they do not like a subject.Super (talk) 15:22, 5 December 2021 (UTC)

If you believe that an editor is abusively nominating articles for deletion, you should bring that to WP:ANI.--Bbb23 (talk) 17:39, 5 December 2021 (UTC)

Oh dear

Hi, you backed the wrong horse in this argument. Please take some time to read WP:GNG and WP:BLP before jumping to conclusions. And then look at Misplaced Pages:Casting aspersions. Attacking my motives as a substitute to finding sources to counter arguments is a dick move and makes you look stupid. Then have a look at my recent nominations and see how the community backs them to an overwhelming degree. Its not disruptive to nominate badly sourced BLPs. You have completely failed to assume good faith. Sad.

@Bbb23: you haven’t done this user any favours casting him into the bearpit of ANI without checking on the validity of his allegation and linking him to the appropriate policies first. Please take more care in future. Spartaz 19:56, 5 December 2021 (UTC)

Oh its nothing personal or anything like that. Someone said to do this in the Devon article thread plus here here. What should I do? User:Spartaz You do seem to have a grudge against pornography related articles. Super (talk) 20:01, 5 December 2021 (UTC)

Will you stop casting aspersions as to my motivations. You don’t know me, don’t know my history and have made no effort to talkmto me but suddenly you are an expert in my thinking. Knock it off!
you should do what you should have done in the first place. Read the policy, understand the rules and find some sources. You are clearly a new user and didn’t know better but I don’t appreciate you shopping my account round various admin pages and accusing me of hatred. Not only is that an inappropriately strong term but, shock horror, all those articles are getting deleted. Why? Because they do not meet our standards for inclusion and other editors agree with me.
What I’d like is for you to remove your allegations, or evidence them because it not satisfactory where things are now.
You also need to pick your targets better. I have been here 15 years have been an active at afd for most of that time. I have been an admin since 2007 and at one time my grasp of deletion policy and consensus was considered sound enough that I closed most of the DRVs for over a year. This is not the kind of editor that you want to be picking fights with unless your evidence is well founded and solidly sourced. I’m not grumpy with you, its obviously over enthusiasm and you didn’t know better but I hope you can learn from this and start to understand our policies better so you can make afd votes that actually count because they are grounded in evidence and policy. December 2021

It appears that you have been canvassing—leaving messages on a biased choice of users' talk pages to notify them of an ongoing community decision, debate, or vote—in order to influence User_talk:Subtropical-man&type=revision&diff=1058651072&oldid=1056667499. While friendly notices are allowed, they should be limited and nonpartisan in distribution and should reflect a neutral point of view. Please do not post notices which are indiscriminately cross-posted, which espouse a certain point of view or side of a debate, or which are selectively sent only to those who are believed to hold the same opinion as you. Remember to respect Misplaced Pages's principle of consensus-building by allowing decisions to reflect the prevailing opinion among the community at large. Thank you. Canvassing plain and simple. Please stop doing this. Spartaz 20:28, 5 December 2021 (UTC)

Thats a lie. I was clear that he held an opinion on the matter that I believe added information to the discussion and that is allowed. Please stop abusing your privileges. Super (talk) 20:55, 5 December 2021 (UTC)

what privilege have I misused please? Spartaz

Linking to wikipedia pages

Hej Supercopone, You can (should) link to wikipedia articles like so:

Accrediting Commission International (in markup: ] )
and not like this: (in markup: ])

In the first example you can simply type Accrediting Commission International ] - and wikipedia will resolve the spaces automatically. -- Mvbaron (talk) 07:46, 6 December 2021 (UTC)

Oh and your reverted false information and deleted facts so that is suspicious. User:Mvbaron Super (talk) 16:27, 6 December 2021 (UTC)

I answered you at the talk page. :) Mvbaron (talk) 17:32, 6 December 2021 (UTC)

User:MvbaronOk so if I improve the sources can we gain a consensus? Super (talk) 17:38, 6 December 2021 (UTC)

Topic ban

Hi - per the community consensus at this discussion, I am informing you that you are now subject to a topic ban related to the AfD process. This means that you may no longer contribute towards discussions at AfD, but also that you may not contribute towards discussions about AfD, or comment on contributors to AfD discussions. Essentially, you should pretend that AfD doesn't exist. You may appeal this topic ban in six months time by making a request at WP:AN. If you have any questions about this, drop me a note at my talk page - WP:BANEX allows for limited discussion about the ban itself, to allow you to understand what it means for you.
