Human rights in Russia

Mister Vlad Fedorov,

There seems to be some controversy. First of all, there's no holy war and you don't have to choose the side. If you treated uncorrectly, address an administrator, etc. It must work.

I'm not an expert in human rights, you are right. I'm sure you with your knowledge and education could become a major editor of the article (I do only minor edits). But your knowledge doesn't automatically gives you respect. Here in Misplaced Pages we have official policy, to elements of which you may refer in discussions -- Misplaced Pages:Five_pillars, and which you should adhere either.

Like in the army -- it doesn't matter who are you. There are Army Regulations and good or bad is following them or not. Here we also have official policy and a structure maintaining the encyclopedia. ellol 23:43, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

Which controversy you talk about? Which Holy War? You have created section named 'Human Trafficking' in the article dedicated to 'Human Rights In Russia' and in that section you inserted data on all former Soviet Union republics. I have deleted twice this section since it is not relevant to Russia. I have explained everything quite understandably. If you consider you reverts as Holy War then it is your problem, I suppose. I am well aware of all Wiki policies and guidelines. These rules, however, do not prevent trolls from posting false information in Misplaced Pages, unfortunately. The article 'Human rights in Russia' is full of gossips and convictions of Russia. When I compare this article with the article 'Human rights in USA', I see a clear bias, because the last article doesn't include even Guantanamo abuses and Abu Greib, not touching systematic violations of Geneva Conventions and Additional protocols and making treaties by the US on non-extradition of US soldiers to the International Criminal Court. These US achievements in Human Rights, of course, do not deserve even mentioning. But article on Russia should include even unsupported accusations like Litvinenko case (although it is not still investigated and closed).Vlad fedorov 08:09, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
I didn't do that! I realize the bias. I do what I can but I can little. Mostly, just removing false facts when I can check them. No, you aren't familiar with Wiki guidelines, coz you would realize your rights and protect your edits if you were familiar with be bold. ellol 15:01, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

Putin and Phallus

On what article did he do this? Alex Bakharev 04:31, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

Guess??? "Phallus" article of course.Vlad fedorov 04:57, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

Stomakhin article

Vlad, I have already spent enormous amount of time discussing this article with you. I have never had a trouble discussing anything with other users but you. Yes, we argued, but it was possible to find a common ground with everyone but you. This article is NPOV now. The political views of Stomakhin are very clear from the court sentence citations. But you want to paint him as a fascist using single unreliable citation. Why? Do you hate him so much? He is already sitting in prison. I think it would be very unfair and wrong to have a defamatory article in Misplaced Pages based on unreliable sources.Biophys 18:13, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

The article now has only one point of view - YOURS POV. And I has the right to have my POV in the article. All my sources are reliable and valid. Stop trolling me.Vlad fedorov

I've blocked you for 24h over this, for re-introducing material deemed unacceptable under WP:BLP. See Misplaced Pages:Administrators'_noticeboard/3RR#User:Biophys reported by User:Vlad fedorov_.28Result: Biophys commended.29.

Appeal for unblocking

((unblock|Biophys claims that I have introduced poorly sourced materials, but I have sourced all of them. Political views of Boris Stomakhin were estimated in the court sentence which was given as a reference. The version of the article I have reverted to is the version which was made by me, Alex Bakharev and Mikka. I wonder how only English and French speaking administrators William M. Connolley and Jkelly estimated the truth of Biophys allegations? What are the reasons? I appeal for his decision, since English speaking individuals cannot estimate the source I have referenced to which is published on Russian.))

I've responded here. Jkelly 18:12, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
Just housekeeping -- the block appears to have expired, so the unblock request seems moot. Let me know if you have any autoblock problems, or feel free to make another request. Sorry we couldn't get you an answer sooner. Luna Santin 07:50, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

Re: Protection of Stomakhin article

I have not protected the article, I only asked for it. The reason is that you and Biophys have been edit warring. Your changes to the article are controversial, so you should discuss them on the article’s talk page and achieve consensus before reintroducing your changes. Be sure always to be civil, assume good faith and stay cool. Conversely, if you continue in your current style, you should not expect others to agree with you (or, for that matter, read your rants). —xyzzyn 15:37, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

Same as above, but I cannot revert to a version after protection. Discuss first, then we'll unprotect. Cbrown1023 talk 16:29, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

Re:Stomakhin

Sorry, but I am not an expert on the matter. However perhaps keeping up to speed on the following articles will be good enough:Russophobia, History of Christianity in Ukraine and this fellow's contributions. It has my hands full.
