			The '''Asia/Oceania Zone''' was one of the three zones of the regional Davis Cup competition in 1999.
	The Group IV tournament was held February 3-7, in ], ], on hard courts. The eight teams were split into two groups and played in a ] format. The top two teams of each group advanced to the promotion pool, from which the two top teams were promoted to the Americas Zone Group II in 2000. 			In the Asia/Oceania Zone there were four different tiers, called groups, in which teams competed against each other to advance to the upper tier. The top two teams in Group IV advanced to the Asia/Oceania Zone Group III in 2000. All other teams remained in Group IV.
	The tournament marked Fiji's first independent participation in the Davis Cup.

The Asia/Oceania Zone was one of the three zones of the regional Davis Cup competition in 1999.

In the Asia/Oceania Zone there were four different tiers, called groups, in which teams competed against each other to advance to the upper tier. The top two teams in Group IV advanced to the Asia/Oceania Zone Group III in 2000. All other teams remained in Group IV.
