Eh.... Admins don't adjudicate content disputes or "decide who is correct" in content disputes. More likely that the admin in question saw the page was protected, and figured enough had been done to prevent disruption. More importantly, you were editing against consensus. It doesn't matter how "correct" you were, that's not how wikipedia works. If you're sure you're right, the correct move is to find more input to generate a more thorough consensus, not edit war to establish your preferred version as the "correct" one.
