Each player picks a variable and reveals it at the same time. The winner is the one who defeats the others. The rules of rock-paper-scissors-lizard-Spock are:

There are fifteen possible pairings of the five gestures. As with the original rock-paper-scissors game, if two players pick the same gesture, it is a tie, also each gesture beats two of the other gestures and is beaten by the remaining two. In a tie, the process is repeated until a winner is found. The original rules (rock beats scissors, scissors beats paper, paper beats rock) remain the same.
