Hello, I'm ]. I noticed that you made a comment that didn't seem very civil, so it may have been removed. LaRouche edits
Please read WP:ATT and WP:BLP. No self-published third-party sources are allowed as support for biographical material about living persons, and editors who revert such material are not subject to the 3RR rule. If you continue to insert it, you'll be in violation of BLP, a policy that is taken extremely seriously, for obvious reasons. Cheers, SlimVirgin 15:17, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
- You used a self-published website as a secondary source, I believe, and an affidavit as a primary source. Others used a LaRouche publication. None of these are reliable sources within the meaning of WP:ATT and WP:BLP. For contentious claims about living persons, you must use the best possible sources, which in this case would mean a mainstream news organization or other publisher. SlimVirgin 15:22, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
- Not about other living persons. Please don't edit further without reading our content policies. SlimVirgin 15:35, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
BLP warning
Hello, I'm ]. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Misplaced Pages has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on ]. Thank you! SlimVirgin 15:46, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
Three-revert rule
Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Misplaced Pages. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. Tom Harrison 22:05, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
