::Well, you own your own offense; there's really not much I can do about it. And, no, I'm not targeting you. But Misplaced Pages is not a gentle place. As every edit page says: "If you don't want your material to be edited mercilessly or redistributed by others, do not submit it." Editing includes determinations whether articles deserve a place here. And I'm hardly going to be the sole arbiter. — ] • 04:19, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
:::Dispute with the Catorce article? Fine. But then you decided to hunt down all my contributions and put them up for deletion. You're petty, and I really wish you would discontinue further comment on my talk page, please. ] 04:21, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
::::No, I did not decide to hunt down all your contributions and put them up for deletion as some sort of melodramatic "revenge" for you reposting deleted material. That presupposes I actually care about the entire matter that much. It's more that you misinterpret Misplaced Pages's notability standards to favor your pet cause — which is certainly not an unknown affliction on Misplaced Pages, but such misinterpretations need to then be subjected to community review. I've certainly nominated articles that have passed fine and stayed with us. I've even withdrawn nominations before. It's not a mistake-free process.
::::But, my friend, if you're taking a bureaucratic dispute '''this''' personally, you're not going to be able to last very long on Misplaced Pages. You need to realize that ] — all of Misplaced Pages is a cooperative production.
::::And since there'd be no purpose in us continuing to discuss things here, yes, I'll not continue the discussion here. But "your" talk page really isn't yours — think of it as a telephone. Except in rare circumstances, you really can't control who calls you. It's the method of communication here on Misplaced Pages.
::::Finally, I ''seriously'' suggest you read ]. I'm being nice and not taking it personally, but community standards frown on the kind of personal attacks you've been making at me. I certainly don't appreciate it. — ] • 04:29, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

Hi Parsssseltongue, I see you're having a rough go of things. I myself have been looking for a reason to vote keep in these debates, but am having a hard time doing so based on ] and ]. There are some things that may help if you have the info. Can you find a tour schedule for these groups showing that they've performed throught much of the U.S.? Are any of them on a record label that we can reference (indy labels are OK)? in the AfD debates you really need to make the case for the bands on the criteria, not against the nominator. -] 05:32, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
*Thanks, ]! I have gone back and made my case for meeting the criteria. Thank you for all your help, and your hand in editing the articles to make them a better fit for inclusion. ] 15:42, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
**though... I'm afraid label info (these are independent artists) and tour dates (just having a hard time finding that kind of info) aren't part of my argument. :( Luckily, I do have more citations, plus I am weaving through the logic of Misplaced Pages guidelines to clearly refute the shaky grounds for the deletion nominations. ] 17:32, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
***I hate to say it, but don't get your hopes up. In a few days an admin will close the debate and make a decision based on all of the opinions given. With all the delete votes currently stacked up...it doesn't look too good for your articles. -] 03:10, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
****The problem is, I feel like there are people whose sole purpose on Misplaced Pages is to look for articles to delete. I came here to contribute, not tear down. And you'll notice, there are the same three or four individuals who follow the person who nominated the articles onto the AfD discussion. It seems to me that if they're all voting for deletion "per nom," and the nomination is wrong (or an editor has added info to the article to help it meet whatever guidelines the nominator said the article was violating), then the article should stand. First off, I understand why you voted speedy keep. I don't think it ''necessarily'' met the criteria, but as you pointed out, that was up for interpretation. And don't think I wrote what I wrote because it was ''you''- I've frequently noted when people have voted to speedily keep something when that's not allowable.<br>
I think the most obvious cases for a speedy keep are a bad faith nom or a withdrawal of nom, both of which we see all the time. Looking at the ] criteria, I think these are perhaps the most easily spelled-out rules on all of WP; it's pretty clear that AfD'ing ''Star Trek'' is a bad faith nom, or that a template or redirect is being AfD'd instead of an article, or what have you. The only aspect that is a bit vague is what constitutes a bad faith nom, but we can usually just go by whether it's very obvious that an article is notable, well-sourced, etc. As far as your vote, I can certainly see why you thought the speedy vote was appropriate, and I hope you don't think I was trying to attack you, as this was absolutely not the case. -- ] 21:16, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

Job done. If only ] had been mentioned WITH the "/" in the article. Now it has the makings of a great article. Ohm and no offence taken. I just hate that phrase with a passion. Nom withdrawn. Amigo, its been a wild ride. You've done some good work here and saved a few. If it has stopped being fun though, then maybe you can think of better ways to pass the time. Good luck. Leave me a note if you return. -MrFizyx 00:06, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Blanking articles in AfD
Please do not blank articles listed for deletion as you did with Andrew Jackson Jihad. It's important to let the AfD discussion complete without overreacting. Thanks. ···日本穣 00:12, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

Hey man, thanks for your contributions to wikipedia reguarding independent and underground music. I found your tireless efforts to create and keep articles on wikipedia inspiring, and I hope more can take your example and do the same, anyways, you've gave me the motivation to create more articles that need to be made. Thanks RiseRobotRise 08:46, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

Your keep closure was endorsed by deletion review because the 4th nomination was very recent. You are a non-admin with a conflict of interest, however, so your accusation of bad faith was stricken by Xoloz —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 192.94.22.2 (talk • contribs) .
- You had voted "Keep" in the second AfD -- to close as "speedy keep" afterwards two further nominations did represent a conflict of interest. I derived the knowledge of this conflict of interest from my examination of all the prior AfDs, part of the record when a examine a DRV request.
- I did not see in the record any evidence substantially suggesting a bad-faith nomination, so that comment of yours was unwarranted in the closing. Absent evidence, WP:AGF requires that we assume any editor wrongly initiating an AfD does so out of ignorance, not bad-faith.
- Sorry to see that you're inactive, as Misplaced Pages needs every editor. Best wishes, Xoloz 18:14, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
Image:Ryanavery.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Ryanavery.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Misplaced Pages articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Chowbok 21:35, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
Regarding P-P-P-Powerbook
Since you were the original user who closed P-P-P-Powerbook's fourth AfD as no consensus (before it was singlehandedly re-closed as delete by another user), I thought you should know that I am requesting review of this deletion here. You are encouraged to contribute to the discussion. --Czj 08:21, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
Orphaned fair use image (Image:Volumatix.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Volumatix.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Image:Larrywildman.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Larrywildman.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Misplaced Pages articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add
{{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Image source problem with Image:Brokenheart.jpg
This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:Brokenheart.jpg. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Misplaced Pages:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Misplaced Pages:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Misplaced Pages:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Misplaced Pages:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 22:05, 13 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Sku.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Sku.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Misplaced Pages:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Misplaced Pages:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Misplaced Pages policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 05:37, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use Image:Brodiehubbard.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Brodiehubbard.jpg. {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}

ArbCom elections are now open!
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Speedy deletion nomination of Paper Heart Gallery
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Paper Heart Gallery requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. – S.
