On April 22, ], Channel 9 relaunched and renamed as TV9 after being sold to ], Malaysia's largest media company with the new slogan, 'Dekat Di Hati'. TV9 will air programmes mainly in ].

Despite focusing mainly on Malay programming, other races are not side lined. It has Chinese, Korean, Japanese, as well as Indian programmes on weekly basis. English programmes such as ], ], ], ] are also aired. Children will be treated to ] cartoons which is dubbed in Malay. It is aired daily from 3:00pm - 6:00pm.

TV9 currently broadcast Edisi 7, a Malay news at 8:00pm, courtesy of ], before getting approval to air their own news.

At 12:00 noon and 12:00 midnight daily, it features Interactive TV services, where music videos is played and at the same time, viewers can chat by SMS.

Daily transmission is from 12:00pm till 1:00am, while official transmission comes on at 3:00pm and ends at 12:00 midnight
