::Dearest Transhumanist,
:::I have tried multiple times to come back to Misplaced Pages and edit once more, but I can no longer hold the interest. I've moved onto other projects and communities and along with my studies, all my time is nearly taken. As much as I would like to support Misplaced Pages, let alone the all-important outlines, I feel it would be nearly impossible for me to pick up again. Also, my main email address has been flooded with spam, so your emails (at least what I know of them) were lost. Needless to say, I am doing quite fine, I haven'd died or anything ..yet (I'll be sure to take those anti-aging remedies you explained to me :) And who knows, I may very well pick up Misplaced Pages once again, and this time, with full programming poweress! Anyways, feel free to contact me at my new email address (dukevinjduke(at)gmail.com) and I will be sure to reply. I am still willing to help with graphic design, so please ask me!

Hi there! Disambiguation link notification for May 20

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Mesa Verde Middle School (Moorpark), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Puma (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hunting for embedded outlines

Good to see you are still around, Penubag. During your browsing, please keep this in mind...

I'm looking for outlines embedded in articles.

I've run across a number of these over the years. One example is the Outline of fencing, which used to be part of the fencing article.

If you know about or spot any structured general topics lists in articles, please let me know (on my talk page).

Another thing you might find are articles that are comprised mostly of lists (without "List of" in the title). If you come across any of these, please report them to me on my talk page. I'd sure like to take a look at them.

Happy hunting.

I look forward to "hearing" from you (on my talk page). Sincerely, The Transhumanist 06:59, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

P.S.: Did you know your Atlas/globe pic was used as the WikiCup award 2 years in a row?

P.P.S.: Drop me an email, and tell me how you've been!

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Schaffer paragraph may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

File:Enhanced watchlist.PNG listed for deletion

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Enhanced watchlist.PNG, has been listed at Misplaced Pages:Files for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why it has been listed (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry). Feel free to add your opinion on the matter below the nomination. Thank you. Kelly 00:24, 22 November 2013 (UTC)

Replied over there; TLDR, the reason it gets marked for deletion is a wiki-tool limitation, rather than a machine-resources-problem. The main downside it that search-functionality stops working on deleted materials. Anyways, *I* thought it was a very nice watchlist pic.  :-)   See you around. 74.192.84.101 (talk) 13:40, 25 November 2013 (UTC)

Notification of automated file description generation

Your upload of File:Atlas7beta crystal.png or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! LA meetups: Adrianne Wadewitz memorial edit-a-thons on May 23 and May 31

Dear fellow Wikipedian,

There are two LA edit-a-thons in memory of Adrianne Wadewitz, a prolific Misplaced Pages editor, in the coming weeks. Please join us May 23 at Occidental College and May 31 at the Institute of Cultural Inquiry to combat systemic bias and help further Adrianne's legacy. No experience needed! Please RSVP at the relevant page(s) if you plan to attend.

I hope to see you there! Calliopejen1 (talk) 23:43, 19 May 2014 (UTC)

To opt out of future mailings about LA meetups, please remove your name from this list.

ArbCom elections are now open!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Making Simple English easier for people to find

Hi there! I'm facilitating a set of wiki editathons in San Diego over the next few months and have really wanted to have our new editors focus on improving or creating Simple English articles (especially in psychology and the neurosciences). I saw that you'd had an animated conversation on Village Pump about the need for SE to be easier to see and wanted to know where things stand now, and what your current thinking on the matter is like. Thanks! DrMel (talk) 21:46, 13 February 2016 (UTC)
