'''''Master''''' is a ] ] based on the long-running ] ] ] '']''. It forms a trilogy with ] and ] to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the show. It features the ] as its main character. In it, the Doctor arrives at an old house in Perfugium where he has, through a deal with Death, sent the Master to live without memory of his evil for several years. The story concerns the end of these years, and the consequences of the Doctor's deal.

The personification of Death had previously appeared in the ] line of books, and this story, although it is set after that line of books, shares much of its tone with them.

==Notes==
#Geoffrey Beevers reprises the role of the ], whom he previously played in the ] story '']'' and the Big Finish Productions audio play '']''.
