Northeastern Europe is a geographical region located northeast of central europe, east of the scandinavian peninsula/and northwest europe, north of southeastern europe and/the balkans, north of West Asia/the middle east in some areas, west of Northern Asia/Siberia(Asian Russia) and Mongolia, and northwest of Central Asia(the stan/land of countries). It consists of Finland(which is geographically and politically very eastern despite being part of the scandinavian peninsula), the Baltics(estonia, latvia, and lithuania), Poland, Belarus/white Russia, Western/European Russia, and Ukraine. Its boundary is generally all parts of Europe that are both east of Germany and North of Slovakia and the Baltics.

The most common ethnic groups are slavs and Uralo Finnic/Siberian people.
