She subsequently joined and starred in '']'', which ran for 18 issues, and her own, eponymous ], which was part of the '']'' event to publicize the introduction of the ] title.

==Fictional character biography==
'''Rebecca Carstairs''' is a famous singer, fashion model, and actress who also happens to be a talented ]. She recently became a partner in the San Francisco based corporate superhero team known as the ], to raise her ]. During the run of '']'', Witchfire discovered that she was not in fact the real Rebecca Carstairs, but actually a ] based on Carstairs. This revelation left her highly curious about the nature of her own existence, and she attempted to contact ] and ] for information on her actual origin. By the series' end, this plot thread had yet to be resolved.

More recently, Witchfire was seen in the first issue of the '']'' ], gathered with other mystics in the ] during the ]'s attack on Earth. In the subsequent ''Day of Vengeance Special'', she was seen joining the ]'s army of mystics to help round up the Seven Deadly Sins, who had escaped when the Spectre destroyed the Rock of Eternity. She was briefly possessed by Lust and attempted to force herself on ].

In ''Superman'' No. 663, Witchfire is seen as a client of the Oblivion Bar from '']'', along with ] and ].

Witchfire is killed in the ]'s battle against Hecate.<ref>Wonder Woman and Justice League Dark 'The Witching Hour' 2019</ref> While at The Oblivion Bar amidst a gathering of The Sisterhood of the Sleight Hand she was possessed by Hecate. She burst into flames murdering almost everyone present, including herself. Rather than go to Hell (for making a deal with the devil) she chose to live in the Collective Unconscious, the subconscious of magic.<ref>Justice League Dark and Wonder Woman No. 1, 2019</ref>
