| After clearing the field, they enter the dungeon, where Orca teaches Kite about some more advanced aspects of the game. After retreiving the treasure at the ], they head for the exit, but they are waylayed by a ] in the game. The field they are in becomes corrupted and ] appears and gives Orca a book. Before having a chance to react, ] appears and Orca tries to fight him off, but gets ]. Skeith turns on Kite, then a large white staff spears itself into the ground, and the program crashes. Kite passes out and is dropped into ]. There a woman in white ( ] ) wielding the staff watches as the book falls into Kite's inventory. When he wakes, he finds that Orca is gone, and that he is left with the book. | |||

The book is actually the Book of Twilight, a powerful item left over from the earlier version of ], Fragment. It rewrite his player data with several powerful programs. His normal green clothes are changed into reddish-orange, with golden symbols written on the pants. His data is also very protected now, and not even a system programmer can change it. The most noticeable change is The Bracelet, and invisable item on his arm that allows his to Data Drain infected monster to get Virus Cores, and using the Virus Cores, he can Gate Hack and get into protected or sela areas of the game. Thus was born the first .hacker, Kite. | |||
