There seems to be a dispute among editors about how to cover the various followers of Swaminarayan. Unless changes are discussed here they are likely to be reverted. The current version, as edited by ], seems to be balanced. Substantial additions, subtractions, or changes to the article should be supported by verifiable sources. The method for editing Misplaced Pages articles is that we all edit each other's work and we need to arrive at a a consensus version through collaboration. None of has a section of our own, though if you register you can have a user page of your own on which you can write just about anything. People who have not read the scriptures of the Swaminarayan Sampradaya have no right to edit this page. In none of the scriptures of the Swaminarayan sect, he is called only a yogi. They are God. So he was proficient in yogic action. I have nothing more to say but just remove the word Yogi from the article. And at least use the word God. If you see references to him being God I will give them.But please don't insult our Lord like this. Don't edit the page if you don't know about our sect. ::Hello, I think the image shown should not be used due to the ambiguity or difficulty one may have locating Swaminarayan in the image. It should be cropped (if possible) and then used. The image currently depicted is not of great quality and does not heed to the traditional art styles used to depict Swaminarayan traditionally in the Indian arts. I thus believe is may be beneficial to replace it. |

It is believed in the Swaminarayan Sampradaya (religion) that that Lord Swaminarayan is the manifestation of the supreme God himself, and he looks exactly the way he looks in his divine abode. it is not believed that He is an incarnation of Krishna. Although Krishna is revered in our religion, we do not believe him to be the Supreme God. So can you please research and change this. |
