  • The Nadine Gordimer article has been the subject of an edit/revert war regarding one paragraph of text. The controversial text is a reference to an Oct., 2006, robbery of Gordimer's home, which includes the race of the perpetrators and a quote stating that it is "ironic" that Gordimer was attacked by 3 black men, given Gordimer's anti-apartheid position. Third-party comments greatly appreciated at Talk:Nadine Gordimer#RFC (April, 2007) on robbery. 20:36, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Talk:Joji Obara#Rfc: mention of ethnicity: a dispute over whether a serial rapist-murderer's ethnic origin should be mentioned in the opening paragraph. 19:43, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Talk:Catherine Bell#Request for Comments - Use of the "truthaboutscientology" website: A number of editors oppose use of the "truthaboutscientology" website (http://www.truthaboutscientology.com/), abbreviated TAS, as a reliable source in biographies of living persons and other articles while a number of editors support its use. This dispute affects a lot of articles in the Scientology series. 23:22, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Talk:Stephen M. Cohen: a dispute over whether the article is libellous based on whether currently cited sources are accurate. 20:20, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Talk:Juan Cole#RfC_on_causality: a dispute over whether a claim of causality should be attributed to its author or to Misplaced Pages in general, and whether sourced material should be deleted. 00:47, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Talk:Cat Stevens: a dispute over the way the subject's name is rendered atop infobox and lead sentence; he is a musician formerly known as "Cat Stevens"; he is now known as "Yusuf Islam" - both are covered in article but debate continues 05:43, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Talk:Avicenna: a dispute over the inclusion of several references describing Avicenna as being of Arab descent, being an "Arab Galen", and being the "climax of Arab science". Other primary references and biographies refer to Avicenna as Persian or of Persian descent. It has been claimed that the disputed references are incorrectly using "Arab" as a catch-all for Arab and non-Arab Muslim scientists. 01:31, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Purushottam Nagesh Oak long dispute/edit war about reliable souces for criticism of the Indian writer who claims that Christianity and Islam orginated from Hinduism, and that the Taj Mahal was once a Hindu temple. 00:47, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Talk:Danah Boyd Long dispute about the name of the article, idiosyncratic capitalization of her name is "danah boyd". The style guide is somewhat silent about this. I'd like to see the guideline be updated with some consensus in addition to this particular issue resolved. the lowecase version is possibly her legal name, and she is aware of Misplaced Pages's unwillingness to alter it. (She has edited) 22:54, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Master P Article is abhorrent, biased, unsourced. I'm not sure which parts of this article are up to Misplaced Pages standards. I have watched this article for a while and have seen no real improvements by numerous edits.20:46, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Marc Ostrofsky Article creator, who is also the article subject, objected to my cutting the article back to here:] and reinstated his preferred version. Which version should be kept? Thanks! - Richfife 18:58, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Talk:Lewis Libby#RfC Dispute about whether inclusion of Libby's religion has satisfied WP:BLP, and about appropriateness of including his specific house of worship. Notmyrealname 02:36, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Talk:Abu Zubaydah#RfC_on_article No disputes (so far). I reorganized the content and it appears that a whole separate article is contained within the original article. The separate article is related to criticism of the incarceration/interrogation of Abu Zubaydah. It is |substantially longer than the article on Zubaydah himself. I would like comments on whether this should be a separate article. Secondarily, I wonder, if we keep that information in the biography, should it take up that much room? 03:21, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Talk:Stephen Barrett#Request for comment: Board certification - Disagreement over whether Barrett's board-certification status is relevant or notable enough to include in his article. 18:08, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Talk:Pearse Jordan#British army fired CS gas into the family home - Disagreement over whether a source (Tirghra, "a book honouring 364 IRA volunteers who lost their lives during the Troubles" ) is a reliable secondary source, or an unreliable primary source. No previous familiarilty with the book is required. 22:42, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

  • Talk:Reza Shah#Request for Comment - Dispute over whether a section detailing the subject's dealings with Nazi Germany is based on Allied propoganda or not. 22:31, 15 March 2007 (UTC) Dispute over whether a section detailing the subject's dealings with Nazi Germany should be included or not. 22:55, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Talk:Michael Cherney - Several anomalies here. A team of editors has been excising all links and information that shed a negative light on Cherney's activities. On the other hand, an anon has recently added some questionable personal information. I am concerned that the article has been penned and patrolled mostly by PR people who wish to present Cherney in the best possible light, possibly at the expense of Oleg Deripaska. See also the gushing prose at Michael Cherney Foundation. 09:11, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Talk:Kent Hovind#FreeHovind.com - Some editors removing all "pro-Hovind" links while keeping lots of "anti-Hovind" links, while others view this as biased and trying to make it look like Hovind has no support 01:22, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
