			:I learn ya! The reason given above is beneficial. I was thinking for a while that keeping stores real cool would make non-refrigerated foods last longer. I experience that many restaurants I go to are comparatively warm, either from hot cooking area or not having A/C up so high so served foods can stay warm longer.

			::Schools would suffer from two of the problems mentioned above, inability to precisely control the temp based on variable sunlight in windows and variable density of people in each room. So, as above, to avoid becoming intolerably hot anywhere, they keep the average temp low. Now, it would be possible to control temps more precisely, if every room had it's own fans and dampers it could turn on and close when the thermostat there indicates it's needed, with both building heat and A/C on all the time, so it could tap into either. Alternatively, each room could have completely independent powerful heat and A/C. Why don't they do this ? It would be very expensive and/or wasteful of energy.
