Hello. Full disclosure: I work for Oliver & Bonacini Restaurants in their marketing department. We would like to request an article for creation about the Toronto-based company and its founders, Peter Oliver and ] judge Michael Bonacini. Currently, Michael Bonacini is the only MasterChef Canada judge without his own Misplaced Pages page.

We would be happy to provide a wide variety of sources (newspaper articles, magazine features, etc.) to the writer. A key player in Toronto's food and beverage culture, O&B owns and operates 12 restaurants in Ontario as well as a handful of event spaces, including ] and ].

The template can be a bit tricky, so if you need help, just post the newsletter on the ] and someone will add it for you.

== User script to detect unreliable sources ==
== Deer Park (Toronto Neighbourhood) ==

{{Main|User:Headbomb/unreliable}}
Hello! Within ] there is a new Business Improvement Area called the "Yonge + St. Clair BIA" - link . Not sure what the conventions are for neighbourhood names, but not sure how many people refer to the area as Deer Park? Also the local subway station is "St. Clair".
I have (with the help of others) made a small user script to detect and highlight various links to ] and ]s. Some of you may already be familiar with it, given it is currently the ]. The idea is that it takes something like
*John Smith "" ''Deprecated.com''. Accessed 2020-02-14. (<code><nowiki>John Smith "" ''Deprecated.com''. Accessed 2020-02-14.</nowiki></code>)
and turns it into something like
* John Smith "{{highlight||pink}}" ''Deprecated.com''. Accessed 2020-02-14.

It will work on a variety of links, including those from {{tl|cite web}}, {{tl|cite journal}} and {{tl|doi}}.
So wondering if your team you consider:

The script is mostly based on ], ] and ] and a good dose of common sense. I'm always expanding coverage and tweaking the script's logic, so general feedback and suggestions to expand coverage to other unreliable sources are always welcomed.
* Potentially changing the name of the page to Yonge & St. Clair?
* Adding the BIA boundary within the neighbourhood map, similar to how its shown on other neighbourhood pages? Here's a link to the boundary (PDF): https://www.toronto.ca/legdocs/mmis/2017/ed/bgrd/backgroundfile-106667.pdf <!-- Template:Unsigned IP --><small class="autosigned">—&nbsp;Preceding ] comment added by ] (]) 21:17, 24 July 2019 (UTC)</small> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->

Do note that this is '''not a script to be mindlessly used''', and several caveats apply. Details and instructions are available at ]. Questions, comments and requests can be made at ].

Hi, Full disclosure: i work at The Great Hall, it's one of the main historic city landmarks in Toronto, although its 130 years old landmark and one of the main pillars on queen west since 1889, it is still not part of the wikipedia resource.
I would be happy to provide any material needed, articles, news, updates, historical background etc.

Proposed article for creation: Ford Family Tree

Hi there, I'm currently hashing out a family tree for the Ford family dynasty on one of my sandbox pages (the family tree template is not user friendly let's just say that) I was wondering if anyone who had more experience with this sort of thing could help work on it. It's here: User:CaffeinAddict/sandbox/2. CaffeinAddict (talk) 07:53, 16 January 2022 (UTC)

User script to detect unreliable sources

Main page: User:Headbomb/unreliable

I have (with the help of others) made a small user script to detect and highlight various links to unreliable sources and predatory journals. Some of you may already be familiar with it, given it is currently the 39th most imported script on Misplaced Pages. The idea is that it takes something like

  • John Smith "Article of things" Deprecated.com. Accessed 2020-02-14. (John Smith "" ''Deprecated.com''. Accessed 2020-02-14.)

and turns it into something like

It will work on a variety of links, including those from {{cite web}}, {{cite journal}} and {{doi}}.

The script is mostly based on WP:RSPSOURCES, WP:NPPSG and WP:CITEWATCH and a good dose of common sense. I'm always expanding coverage and tweaking the script's logic, so general feedback and suggestions to expand coverage to other unreliable sources are always welcomed.

Do note that this is not a script to be mindlessly used, and several caveats apply. Details and instructions are available at User:Headbomb/unreliable. Questions, comments and requests can be made at User talk:Headbomb/unreliable.

Discussion at Misplaced Pages:Content assessment

 You are invited to join the discussion at Misplaced Pages talk:Content assessment#Proposal: Reclassification of Current & Future-Classes as time parameter, which is within the scope of this WikiProject. This WikiProject received this message because it currently uses "Current" and/or "Future" class(es). There is a proposal to split these two article "classes" into a new parameter "time", in order to standardise article-rating across Misplaced Pages (per RfC), while also allowing simultaneous usage of quality criteria and time for interest projects. Thanks! —CX Zoom 07:10, 2 July 2023 (UTC)
