Cheyney C. Ryan is an American philosopher and emeritus Professor of Philosophy and Law at the University of Oregon. He is also a senior research fellow at Oxford University's Institute for Ethics, Law, and Armed Conflict, known for his works on nonviolence, pacifism, and the critique of just war theory.
