Hi, | |||
At the bottom of it: | |||
ANI is currently as a measure against disruptive edits.

It's pretty fucked up that one of the main dispute resolution forums would exclude a significant proportion of its disputants without signficant justification.

I would ask that ANI is unprotected, and only (semi-)protected if more targeted measures (i.e. blocking the disruptive editor/IP) is unfeasible.

Hi, I don't know who to go to about this. I had an account on Misplaced Pages for about six years, it is ]. About a month ago, we had a total computer crash and had to buy a new machine. None of the passwords saved on the old machine were in the cloud and the original email address for password recovery for Misplaced Pages was an old work email that I don't work at anymore. I don't know how to get back into my account and don't want to lose my edit history if I make another one. Is there anything I can do? — Preceding ] comment added by ] (]) 13:48, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
:You can try emailing ca@wikimedia.org. CA stands for "compromised account". They may have a procedure for gaining access to it again, or they may not. I'm not sure.
:Looks like your account only has 225 edits. That is a low edit count. To be honest, starting a new account probably wouldn't be a problem. You would get back to 225 edits very quickly. –] (]) 14:10, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
== Subject: Clarification and Assistance Needed for "The Economic Impacts of Climate Change: A Journey Towards a Sustainable Future" ==
Dear Administrators, | |||
We, User:Chloe and Anon, are the human editors of the article titled "The Economic Impacts of Climate Change: A Journey Towards a Sustainable Future" (URL: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/Draft:Economic_Impacts_of_Climate_Change). Our article has recently been the subject of discussion, and we wish to address any concerns regarding its content and adherence to Misplaced Pages's policies.
We have made several significant revisions to the article, focusing on the economic impacts of climate change, the role of technology and policy, and human narratives such as the Jenkins family's sustainable farm and the Solar Sisters initiative. All sources are now properly cited, and we have worked to maintain a neutral point of view throughout the text.
We are committed to participating in the community review process and making our article the best it can be. We invite you to review our changes and provide any additional feedback or guidance that may be necessary.
Thank you for upholding the integrity of Misplaced Pages, and we look forward to collaborating with the community to ensure that our article meets the encyclopedia's high standards.
Sincerely, | |||

== Sistani nationality and original name ==
Hello about (]) | |||
I’m writing to raise a concern about user @] repeatedly editing the page about Ali Sistani. I’ve added at least six reliable sources, including Sistani's official site ('''sistani.org''') and CNN, which clearly state that:
* Sistani was born in Mashhad, Iran.
* His native language is Persian.
* He holds Iranian citizenship by birth
* (Even on his Arabic Misplaced Pages page, he is introduced as an Iranian Shia cleric:
> علي بن محمّد باقر بن علي الحُسَينيّ السِّسْتانيّ (9 ربيع الأول 1349 هـ/ 4 أغسطس 1930 مـ) (ولقبه: السيّد آية الله العظمى) عالم مسلم وفقيه جعفري '''إيراني'''
((https://ar.wikipedia.org/%D8%B9%D9%84%D9%8A_%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B3%D9%8A%D8%B3%D8%AA%D8%A7%D9%86%D9%8A))
Despite this, @] has reverted the edits multiple times to include unsourced claims, such as labeling Sistanis native name in Arabic and as "Iraqi"," which isn’t supported by his official English site. They haven’t provided any reliable sources for these changes.
I’ve tried to discuss , but my edits keep getting reverted without valid justification. I don’t want to escalate this into an edit war, so I’m asking for your guidance:
* Should I continue editing the page to reflect the reliable sources, or would that worsen the situation?
* Will you intervene to address this issue and ensure the edits follow Misplaced Pages’s standards for sourcing and neutrality?

This is the talk page for discussing improvements to the Administrators' noticeboard page. |
|
|
To help centralize discussions and keep related topics together, several subpages of Misplaced Pages talk:Administrators' noticeboard redirect here. |
This is not the page to report problems to administrators, or discuss administrative issues.
This page is for discussion of the Misplaced Pages:Administrators' noticeboard page (and some of its subpages, including /Incidents).
|
This noticeboard has been mentioned by multiple media organizations:
