EV Group (EVG), formerly called Electronic Visions, is a manufacturer of process equipment for the semiconductor industry, microsystems technology, and nanotechnology. It has its primary location in Austria. EV Group provides wafer fab equipment.
It is a company in the semiconductor manufacturing equipment industry, also known as the semiconductor capital equipment industry. EVG provides optical lithography equipment, including photoresist processing systems.
Its products include photolithography systems, systems for nanoimprint lithography, wafer bonders, and inspection systems that can be used for both research and industrial mass production.
EV Group supplies wafer bonding equipment. Some of EV Group's equipment can be used for manufacturing high-brightness LEDs.
History
EV Group created the world's first double-side mask aligner with bottom side microscope in 1985, which was useful in MEMS production.
EV Group became involved in a lawsuit with Silicon Genesis Corporation.
