The current Chanel article states that Chanel have continued to do business in Russia since the start of the war with Ukraine, which is is incorrect. Chanel have stopped doing business in Russia and have even gone as far as to stop selling to Russian buyers outside of their borders.

Quick follow up:
* The Janet Mielke Schwartz article was obvious paid placement. It had a LA weekly marked advertorial from 'tedfuel', which appears to be a small SEO firm whose home page is a mashed-together wordpress site similar to the link above. There's also a 'reader's digest' marked advertorial and something from a gossip magazine blog that looks like another native ad, and some other blogs. Moved this to draft and removed the junk sources.
* The ] article by 'sami' was created by a blocked undisclosed paid editor, possibly a ]. It was definately made via a Freelancer posted job handled by a Pakastani marketer who advertises creating Misplaced Pages articles (see ]). There's a long thread to look into here.
* ] is pretty old; created in 2016. There was a recent edit to remove some negative information by a single purpose account that edited similar to the blocked editor at ]. Will look in to that more as well.
* ] - Nothing obvious - recent addition by an IP and a low-volume account adding a selfie. This was created by a fairly prolific account that seems to focus on academic biographies.
* ] - This seems likely to be a UDPE, the author has only created a few promotional biographies - one of which was filled with spam and moved out of mainspace by me in August; this included some really obvious advertorial and blackhat SEO sites. I left him a request for a paid editing disclosure which he seems to have ignored. Will look in to that more.
There's a few threads in there that I need to follow up on when I get some free time, but there's clearly paid editing involved in there. ''] ]'' 12:50, 23 January 2024 (UTC)

I sourced him to TikTok And instagram where he has gained quite a following over the years and also added the articles where I had originally found him. One of them, 'theubj' is a site that has been blacklisted globally across all Misplaced Pages projects as a SEO operation. Given the history of promotional edits on that article, it would be best to stick to quality sources. :Spacebit was repeatedly a target for , which was funded through Wikibusiness, an LTA problem. Bitget was a client for the same paid editing farm. As they were both simple G5s, any editor in good standing is welcome to take a shot at it. I'd probably pick from the thousands of G11s created by misguided COI accounts instead of ones that involved actual paid abuse, but I have a chip on my shoulder with people who pay to unethically manipulate Misplaced Pages. The person fought how Macedonians are separate ethnicity but when u try to put his ethnicity it is removed by the Bulgarian editor. It just says he is Mijak (which is ethnographic group of Macedonians). This is like saying someone isn't american he is Californian.

"artistweekly" makes it a little easier on you: brand paid placement is disclaimered at the bottom of the article as "''This article features branded content from a third party. Opinions in this article do not reflect the opinions and beliefs of Artist Weekly.''" The author is a SEO/PR hack associated with the Kivo spamming ring as well. In each case, you just need to poke around a bit and evaluate the sources you are using. Since it seems the recreations are likely going to continue, perhaps there's a way to SALT the article titles and close derivations of them so that they can't be recreated without administrator review instead of blocking individual accounts. The financial numbers are nonsense (3.5m rev with 6.5m operating profit?), and some of the material points to companies that are unrelated. I'm most concerned with the fake sources and fake claims. I'll watch the accounts talk page and see if there's ever a coherent response to your questions, but this feels like a tiny company that's really into self-promotional claims. Thank you for letting me know about archiving the two sections. I was under the impression that it was not important enough to do so. I have been told that cluttering up Misplaced Pages with old and large amounts of text is to be discouraged. I will be sure to archive the old discussions.

The obscene language may be found under the "Addition of Opposing Reception" section at the May 18, 22:49, May 19, 16:07. Though I will warn you, the statements are extremely childish and crude, completely disgusting and totally unbecoming to an editor.

As far as the charge of edit warring, we have gone back and forth because the other editor has refused to make a legitimate argument in favor of their preference for the article (or any argument at all) and has resolved to attacks and spurious accusations. I do not know why will occur at the end of the protection for the article, because the other editor has refused to express why they feel their opinion is correct.

This latest dispute has come about because the editor has been combing through the page history after being rebuked on a discussion page. However, it does appear they were partially correct in regards to the page section removal. Once again, thank you for telling me that the text should be archived,

:Yeah, that's a fun one. There are a large number of sites which pretend to be legitimate sources, but are actually just cheap blogs with unmarked paid placement or spam articles. This is one of them. They usually get blacklisted, but I wait until I've seen them used repeatedly by obvious UDPE accounts. They appear a lot in articles about minor celebrities, social media influencers, or "serial entrepreneurs" so you need to have extra care when sourcing articles/biographies like that. I could have just walk up to the ANI and voice out my complaints to the general house but as you have been mentioned on my talk page I find that fair enough to also report the matter to you as an admin. Few days ago I got a message ] with a false claim about AFD and due to its from a ] editor of which I know how my people behave it had to affect my mental health because one thing I definitely don't like in my life are false claim instead of asking questions. Some people can be seen as bad people online all because they don't have the strength to talk, but they are good people offline. They are millions of users here on this platform and am pretty sure not everyone are okay with the way life is going for them but that doesn't mean they should stop what could bring good impact to other people. I gamble on sports for a living, won millions from that, gone to a lot of charity homes and give to the poor but I still feel weak on my health reason I don't write that much long on articles. But if I don't say this who's gonna know. And maybe at the end of the day am being seen as the bad person all because I didn't speak. In real life, am a well mannered person, I don't look down on people because I know how life started for me so its always sounding odd to me when people speak with bad faith. They should then be blacklist from wikipedia reliable source for further citation by other editors. This script can list all citations from an article, allowing you to remove multiple citations with a single click. I’ve included paths for sponsored articles from your list, like Khaleej Times’ kt-network, along with known unreliable sources such as YouTube and IMDb, which will get highlighted in red in the popup list. There are still many sources that can be added to this script. Since you frequently remove spam and unreliable sources, this script might be useful for you.
