1960 New York air disaster crash in Park Slope
Hi Anna. According to Pillar of Fire by Nathaniel Altman in the Park Slope Reader, the plane split and crashed around 122 and 126 Sterling Place, just below the corner of 7th Ave. I saw you put it at 8th Ave, so I changed it back to 7th to reflect the source. Best regards, --Howrealisreal 15:25, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
- Really? I thought it was Eighth, but I could be wrong. — AnnaKucsma (Talk to me!) 15:31, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
Hmmm.. Well let me know if you find a source for that. I'll be interested to give it a look. Take care. --Howrealisreal 15:47, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
changes
Hi Anna, we're sorry to bug you but in fact I was showing a friend how quickly even minor changes to Misplaced Pages get edited. I was doing it to prove how effective the peer-editing system is though, forgive? Your quick change (less than 5 minutes, bravo) was an awesome example. We were wondering, how did you know notice my change so quickly? Were you just browsing around? Best, J0E
- Hi, JOE. The English language article is on my Watchlist, a feature that comes along with a Misplaced Pages account. Basically, you can "watch" pages that you're interested in; by clicking a particular link you can see any changes made recently to the pages you've so bookmarked. There's no minimum, and I don't think there's a maximum (I'm pushing 300). And thanks for noticing the reverts. — AnnaKucsma (Talk to me!) 17:23, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
Requested move
I apologize if this is canvassing, but you recently edited Grand Army Plaza-Prospect Park (IRT Eastern Parkway Line). You might be interested in or have something to contribute to Talk:Grand Army Plaza-Prospect Park (IRT Eastern Parkway Line)#Requested move. --NE2 16:16, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

Many thanks for the speedy reversions of nonsense or vandalism (whatever it was...) affecting this article! Kim dent brown 21:29, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
Link trimming at Grand Army Plaza
You're a recent contributor to this article; I'm proposing trimming some of the linkage in the lead, with the discussion here. Also, any other comment on the article's composition, and areas of improvement you may care to entertain. Thank you for your help. Take care! Gosgood 16:06, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

Misplaced Pages:Manual of Style (national varieties of English)
Hello, I'm contacting you because you have contributed to Misplaced Pages talk:Manual of Style (national varieties of English) User:Kevin Murray has called the page a "rejected proposal", but that can be reversed. I think the page might need to have the general guidelines rather than just examples. I've started a draft at User:Joeldl/Varieties of English Draft. Let me know what you think. Edmund Backhouse (MP)
You added " |listas=Backhouse, Edmund " to the talk page of Edmund Backhouse (MP). Will this distinguish him from his rather more famous/notorious grandson: Sir Edmund Backhouse, 2nd Baronet ? ==Vernon White (talk) 21:51, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
- It won't distinguish them, but it won't do anything to confuse them, either. The "listas" perameter simply gets them both sorted under the B's. — AnnaKucsma (Talk to me!) 14:00, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
WPBIO "listas" names
Hello. Thank you for your efforts in filling out the project banners for WikiProject Biographies. Please be careful, however, with East Asian names and with others that may be written in the reverse order from what you are used to. It can be tough to recognize if you're not familiar with Japanese names enough to know that Tanaka is a surname, and Mototsugu is a given name, etc. And I don't blame you for that, certainly. Just try to be careful with it is all, please. Thank you. LordAmeth 07:44, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
you recently rated
Alexander Milne Calder as a Stub Class article but did not leave any comments as to how you think this article (which, I must admit, is mostly mine) can escape this designation. I have written a fair number of such articles over the last several years and these assessments have started popping up like the dandelions in my garden and I'm at a loss as to what to do? No, not about the dandelions. I dig them up and feel good about it, but about these articles that I've spent much time and energy putting together so other folks can point out that they are not good enough. Yet these other folks never, or rarely anyway, seem to do anything other than leave brightly colored but slightly irritating messages on them. If the time was used to improve the articles rather than leaving that for someone else . . .... well the dandelions would probably all cease to exist too. The effect that this is having on me is that I now remove things (my things, pictures mostly) from these articles when this happens. Carptrash 00:11, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
