Oscar Williams

Since you say OW is from a particular town, could you please include that in the text - e.g., was he born there? (and add a ref. if possible) Kdammers 11:58, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

I just saw this at the Lilly page: "Williams was born in Brooklyn, New York, December 1910." This contradicts what You wrote. What gives? Kdammers

Williams was a weird guy, secretive about his background. Perhaps this was misinformation he placed during his lifetime. My sources all say he was born outside the US. See for instance ]. It says he was born in Stara Sinyava, which is almost right - it is the next district over from where he was really born. Contact his son Strephon Kaplan-Williams <sd.williams@planet.nl> and ask him directly.--Klezmer 13:06, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
