Hello
I appreciate your smile, even though I don't know what I did to deserve that. On the day I received your "smile" I came by your talk page to leave a note, but couldn't figure out how to post one, it looked...uncommon. Then I noticed your userpage format(looks great) and quietly stole it(Thanks!). I was too lazy to create seperate pages at that time, though.
P.S. Frankly, your talkpage looks awful compared to your userpage. Maybe it's just my browser that makes it look awful.--Crzycheetah 21:53, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, it looks much better now(I am using InternetExplorer). As for the smile, yes, it did the trick.--Crzycheetah 23:11, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
Someone else who adds too much info
Join the crowd. People always say I add too much! =) I just figured it looked odd handing off onto a second line (in a visual sense). I see there is a lot of vandalism on that page. I wish there was something we could do about that. I notice you tend to update it often, too, and (I believe) sometimes undo the bad edits. --Write On 1983 23:37, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
- Hmm, I think that's code for "I have no life." =) --Write On 1983 04:15, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
Fran14 and other socks
Thanks. Can you take any further socks to AIV since this Brit is soon to hit the sack. Cheers. LessHeard vanU 21:43, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
Hurricane Dean
Well, there's no way to tell, plus Dean is undergoing an eyewall replacement cycle at this point. Besides, it's already pretty much given by the storm history section. --Coredesat 05:52, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
Arbuthnott map
I don't have a map and was wondering how to create one. - Kittybrewster (talk) 14:22, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
WKAV
I notice you created a page for WKAV in Charlottesville, Va. which states that it goes back to 1957. I was in Charlottesville in 1965-69 and I do not recall a station by that call, but there was a station WELK (which is now the call of an FM station in Elkins, W. Va., that you also created a page for). Do you know whether WELK became WKAV, and when? I'm trying to create a reference for all these call letter changes (as well as frequency changes and other such stuff) on wikia:broadcasting. Any help you can give me (on those or any other stations) would be appreciated. -- BRG 18:31, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you very much. The material you supplied is exactly the kind of stuff I'm looking for. If you would like to be of help, you can see how I entered the data you gave me at wikia:broadcasting:Chronology of call letters WELK, wikia:broadcasting:Chronology of call letters WXAM, and wikia:broadcasting:Chronology of call letters WKAV, and if you are willing to do yome editing yourself, you can enter it directly (Wikia uses the same conventions as Misplaced Pages, so you should understand all the formatting codes). As I said, any help you can give is appreciated. -- BRG 19:56, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
Hurricane Dean (2007)
Thanks for updating the 5-day track image. It's a lot of work to keep the article current, and I really appreciate your help. Plasticup /C 21:10, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
Virginia Stations
Thanks for your kind words on my talk page. I'm getting as many station pages started as I can and putting what details I know. Hopefully that will spur others to add more history and other information. Rtphokie 11:35, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
