The removal of images from this article was not vandalism. If you reinsert the images I will start giving you warning for violating WP:NFCC #3 and #9. Thank you! — Moe ε 19:26, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
Welcome to Misplaced Pages. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism and are immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. — Moe ε 16:18, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
Taking Back Sunday
The removal of valid sourced statements is not allowed. Also myspace is not considered a good source.Hoponpop69 19:32, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
- Here are the rules straight from Misplaced Pages:Verifiability : Self-published sources should never be used as third-party sources about living persons, even if the author is a well-known professional researcher or writer.
Myspace is a self published source, since it is run by the band itself. You say "MySpace is the best source there is because the band members made and edit their MySpace page" but that's the exact kind of thing wikipedia is against. This cite relies on reliable third party sources, in this case the Rolling Stone article I posted fits this criteria. Please do not remove this source again.Hoponpop69 06:17, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
Don't remove citation requests!
If you see the words next to something, do not remove it unless you are adding a citation!Hoponpop69 03:14, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
"You don't need a citation for every little fact about a band, especially not for a genre. Look at any other band article. There are rarely citations on genres. So do not put the citation request up again because it is not needed."
This is not true, see Misplaced Pages:Citing sources. It states that attribution is required for direct quotes and for material that is challenged. There is nothing about not needing it for a genre, and further more there are plenty of articles where genres are sourced, Ramones, Papa Roach, Blink-182, to name a few.
As your claim that emo is not a genre because it is a style of music (aren't these the same thing?), is clearly a fringe theory.
If you remove the citation or citiation request again I will report you. THIS IS YOUR LAST WARNING. Hoponpop69 04:54, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
That unofficial Yellowcard link can't stay
- Yes, there is a rule that says so; read the rules on external links. --Orange Mike 02:03, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

Yellowcard
Stop reverting changes that were made to the Yellowcard page and adding the French UNOFFICIAL fan page. We've discussed these topics already. If your repeated reverts and editing vandalism continues, I will ask an admin to step in and stop you from editing. Imasleepviking ( talk ) 20:18, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the message but I'll be fine. I had an account but it got blocked for a month so I just signed out. The main thing that bugs me is their attitude towards everything. They've got this elitist view that just annoys me and if they block me again there's always proxies. Those images have been there for years now, and just because they feel it is a violation of fair use images or whatever doesn't give them the right to just remove them. If you try to have any logical talk with them at all they just hit you with a million things like WP:Policy WP:Bullshit WP:Howtobeanelitistprick. Edit wars may be pointless, but there's not much else that can be done —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.222.253.116 (talk) 06:15, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
Images
If you look at Misplaced Pages:Manual of Style#Images it says that "Specifying the size of a thumb image is not recommended: without specifying a size the width will be what readers have specified in their user preferences, with a default of 180px (which applies for most readers)." because "...some users need to configure their systems to display large text. Forced large thumbnails can leave little width for text, making reading difficult." Also if someone is using a large monitor with 1600x1200 for the resolution they may have set their preferences to 300px and then the images will be too small for them. If you click on "my preferences" and then go to files you can set the size you want to see the images at but don't force others to your preference. - Ah, the flags. Have a look at Misplaced Pages:Don't overuse flags. It dosen't really add anything as the country name and link is already there. This time it happened to be a US flag but I tend to remove any when making other edits. By the way if you look at Misplaced Pages talk:Manual of Style there are some people who weere discussing having the deafult thumbnail made larger. It also turns out that users may not know that they can change the thumbnail size. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 15:22, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

Reporting you
I gave you that last warning because I thought this was the first time you'd done this, and no one had warned you about that. However after checking your history I noticed that I personally had given you multiple warnings earlier, which you had deleted from your talk page (and which I've restored). I am going to file a report on you later today. This is a heads up. Hoponpop69 19:14, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

- This is an undeniable fact that you did do that. I suggest you just say that it won't happen again. — Moe ε 22:53, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
- Fine, just don't reinsert it an no problems should reoccur. Regards, — Moe ε 22:58, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
