Millions of Egyptians identify as Arabs. Thus this article falls within the Arab Wiki project. End of story. Quit the anti-arabism Funkynusayri16:19, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
Please learn to be more civil. Yes, the project banner is appropriate for valid reasons (such as At least a few million Egyptians are Arabs), not if it's just to make a point for disruption . As it stands, I see no harm in having it. — Zerida16:47, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
Hamada accused me for being anti-Egyptian, only for adding the banner. Anyhow, the reason why this article falls into the Arab Wiki project is very straightforward and simple, and it's good that you didn't just assume bad faith right away. Maybe you should try to persuade your companions to be less suspicious too. Funkynusayri17:08, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
Funkynusayri, once again, please tone down the incivility -- they are not my "companions" just because we might share similar backgrounds. It's normal for Wikipedians to work alongside those who have similar interests, knowledge and objectives. I was personally suspicious because of User:Skatewalk's increased penchant for disruption and flaming of late (hence the edit summary I left ). Otherwise, I have no problem with the banner if it's used for its intended purpose, as with any other project. — Zerida17:20, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
I would take your calls for civility more seriously if they applied to the people who share your viewpoints too. And heck, I don't even see anything "uncivil" about my post, so let's just leave it at that. Funkynusayri18:51, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
Don't throw around accusations that you can't back up. No one here insulted you, whereas you still sound rude and hostile for no reason like you did on the Arab page. That's why it seems like you have something against Egyptians. Looking here http://en.wikipedia.org/Special:Contributions/Funkynusayri you were reported by administrators for being uncivil. Heed their advise please. Thank you. Hamada219:00, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
Last time I checked Misplaced Pages is not ewdited by children, they can tell immediately who is trolling and who is not!--Skatewalk04:56, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
I quote you: "attacking Egyptians for no reason". Adding the Wiki project tag is an attack now? And nice going that you noticed me being reported for making up a nickname for a guy consisting of the first letters of his screen name, that's extremely uncivil for some reason. Anyhow, all this is irrelevant, so let's get back to work. Funkynusayri19:14, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
This article will be improved, because of this article Egyptians are confused as 100% Arabs. Niqabat Al-Ashraaf clearly recognizes 25Million Egytptians who claim to be descended from Kinana about third of them claim direct lineage to Banu Hashim. The Banu Judham (Gamal Abdul Nasser tribe!), the Sakasic the tribes who named the Zaqaziq! all these are ethnic Arabs. its called the ARAB REPUBLIC OF EGYPT for a good reason, if they were not Egyptians they will get rid of the name! The non Arab minority is known (Northern Christian Copts),(southern Nubians)--Skatewalk
Is the article about Egyptian Arabs?
because you are claiming 77million Egyptians in Egypt. Are we talking about Egyptian Arabs? (because I believe the Copts dont want to fall into that group).--Skatewalk17:38, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
