License tagging for Image:100 0476.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:100 0476.JPG. Misplaced Pages gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Misplaced Pages, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Misplaced Pages:Media copyright questions. 16:05, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
Neutral point of view
Thank you for your contributions. Please note that material that you add to Misplaced Pages must be verifiable, relying on reliable sources and compliant with our neutral point of view policy. Your recent edits on Korçë were not sourced or neutrally worded, so I have had to undo them as not compatible with our editing policies. Please bear those policies in mind in future. Thanks! -- ChrisO 20:23, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
Himarë
I give up on editing this article. Every time I correct the links to disambiguation pages, my changes get lost in the edit war. Please note that according to the page George Tenet, he was born in Flushing, Queens, New York, so it is plainly wrong to say that he "hails" from a village in Albania. His father was born in Greece, his mother in Albania. In general, I think you would find more support for your version of the article among other editors if you were to provide more specific sources for factual claims. --Russ (talk) 20:45, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for your note concerning Himara. Indeed, there is a war raging about the part of the "List of cities in Albania" that contain the sizeable Greek community of Northern Epirus because the albanian nationalists and secret services (SHK, Sigurimi) want to eliminate any trace of these people and any mention of them even here in Misplaced Pages! So I am just trying to defend what was and what it still is, that is the eternal Greek character of the Northern Epirus region that now belongs to the state of Albania. I have explained this to ChrisO and I don't think he saw the points of my arguments. As far as Tenet is concerned, grammatically you are right. I am not a native English speaker so perhaps the term "hails" is inaccurate. Indeed Tenet may also be listed as New Yorker. However with us Greeks, things are a bit different. It does not matter so much where you live now but where you come from, i.e. the place of your origin or where your parents descend from. So according to this Greek custom, Tenet hails both from southern Greece and Northern Epirus. By the way, Tenet is going to Qeparo tomorrow to visit his ancestral home. I bet he knows what he's doing since nearby there are some really magnificent (and untouched) beaches, very aproppriate for holidays! Thanx again. Cleander.

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Misplaced Pages articles, as you did to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Doing so violates Misplaced Pages's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Please do not violate WP:NPOV anymore by inserting unverifiable, controversial information and attacks into this article. If you believe you have a solid case, please go to the talk page and seek consensus. Kudret abi 06:19, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

"Personal analysis", "commentary"??? I merely added quotes from Misplaced Pages for Mustafa Kemal! The "Great Fire of Smyrna" was NOT my "personal analysis" but a Misplaced Pages article! No matter how hard turkish nationalists try to idolise him, the fact is that he was an ethnic cleanser, responsible for the death of millions of non-turkish inhabitants of Asia Minor.
