{{unblock|I am blocked because of some copyrighted images. I have been to Ranthambore national park and visit tiger canyons and many of the pictures i uploaded are actually my own work. I took them while i was at these places. I really do not understand why i am being block. So i would like to appeal for a adminstrator to unblock me. I have uploaded many pictures and updated many tigers-related[REDACTED] page with reference, please take that in mind. For the number of pictures that i did not take, i got permission from Save China's Tiger(www.savechinastigers.net) and John Varty's webpage(www.jvbigcats.co.za). So please unblock me, thank you. I promise to tag my photos with care next time, please give me a chance. }}

The original block was givne without a single human warning or even an explanation from the blocking administrator. That coupled with the fact that LeoGard seems to understand what he did was wrong now adds even greater weight to an unblock.

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

- Someone else can make a final decision on this (I'm inclined to agree), but please understand the issue:
- One of Misplaced Pages's missions is to produce content that can be reproduced without substantial copyright restrictions. Thus, Misplaced Pages does NOT accept images licensed only for use on Misplaced Pages or licensed for non-commercial use. In order for an image to be uploaded here, the copyright holder - in other words, the person or company who took the photo - needs to explicitly license the image under the GFDL or a compatible license. The GFDL allows anyone to use the image for any purpose, provided that their use of the photo is also licensed under the GFDL. If these websites get their photos from somewhere else, then they may not have the authority to grant that license. If they own the content and are willing to grant this license, please see Misplaced Pages:Requesting copyright permission for forwarding a letter of permission to Wikimedia. That permission needs to be on file otherwise someone looking at it has no way of knowing it was ever granted.
- Please read and let that sink in, talk with the copyright holder, see if they are willing to grant the images under the GFDL, and forward that letter on to the address in there. Until that happens, please don't upload any more of the images. We would absolutely LOVE to have the photos, but it is important that they meet our licensing needs - Misplaced Pages respects the copyrights of others. Once you have read all of this, please post here that you agree not to upload any more of the images, and I'm inclined to agree with the unblock. --B 03:39, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
- As you seem to have good article contributions, I'm willing to unblock you on 1 condition - Don't upload any images that cannot be proven to be public domain for at least a month, to give you time to review Misplaced Pages's image policies and rules. Other than that, no images. Mr.Z-man 05:18, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
